Aarhus Business College, Denmark 

Aarhus Business College (in Danish “Aarhus Koebmandsskole”) is among Denmark's largest business colleges. It was founded in 1865 and is the oldest Business College in Denmark. The College receives approximately 10,000 students and course participants every year and employs the equivalent of 300 employees.

The target group is school leavers and adults who receive training from basic to advanced levels. In addition to the individuals, the target groups are private and public sector enterprises and organisations that wish to develop their staff through training. The main activity of Aarhus Business College is to offer national vocational and business education, and training programmes in Denmark. These programmes are regulated and supported by the Ministry of Education, and by a large number of advisory bodies including representatives from various labour market organisations.  

It is important for Aarhus Business College to be known as a development-orientated centre for education and counselling. In our efforts to create modern learning environments, the college actively supports the current development of the applied methodology, involving interdisciplinary learning, integration of theory and practice and distance learning, as well as we collaborate with the students and the enterprises to ensure that our services correspond with the requirements. Aarhus Business College has 4 teaching campuses and 1 administration unit in Aarhus. The buildings cover a total of 22,000 square metres. All premises and equipment are of first rate standard.
